Well, the new semester draws ever closer, as does the deadline for all those forms we have to fill in, so I'd like to call a meeting in a kind of official capacity. Once we work out what day to do it on, would someone post it on the blog?

Basically, lets meet in the SUB bar at uni (YES IT'S STILL OPEN) at around one o'clock on a day next week that isn't Monday. Everyone welcome, committee HAS to be there, hence asking as to when everyone is free.

If we want to make this a really smooth ride this year, prior preparation and all that! I definately want to see if we can get funding for going to Auchinawa, and as early as possible, since there's not that many places left, and I also want to see if we can get to Expo as well. Expo is a relatively cheap trip in compasion to Auchi, but I've been looking into ways of cheapening it and IT'S POSSIBLE. It's possible to do it for about as cheap as going to London (maybe cheaper!) if you ignore the entry ticket cost (?50 per head for the full four days)

So, yes. Please everyone say when they are free (committee essential, everyone welcome!!!!!!) and themn someone post it on the blog!!!

im free every day except fridays for a meeting.

i can use this meeting to discuss events/ fundraisers, and organise dates of those, and of socials too.

i think we will seriously be pushing it to get funding for both expo and auchinawa as theyre pretty close together, i think we may be better off just choosing 1 to go to. if we just go to auchinawa, then we can go to expo again the same time we did this year, that way they are more spread out, and will be better financially for people, not having to pay for 2 trips in 5 weeks, especially seeing as a lot of people will most likely be living off loans, and the first loan has to last from september to january, meaning lasting through xmas too.

i know i definately wont be able to go to both because of work, ill already be pushing it to get 1 of the trips off work, i stand no chance of getting both off.

also its not just the sports clubs getting emails, ive been getting them too, its not been anything seriously important though
