i'm on book 4 and this is amazing, sooo many back stories to the other characters and a simple easy to follow story ontop of that. i have the whole collection now and frantically reading it, go HAKKAI!

Saiyuki isn't REALLY shounen-ai... but Minekura does write some other more shounen-ai-y stuff. It's also pretty suggestive sometimes. :D

Yeah, but with liek, with nothing more than romance inplied (like Toya and Yukito in CardCaptor Sakura, that was shounen-ai cuz Yuki said 'I LUFF YOUR BROTHER' and Toya said 'TAKE ALL THE ENERGY YOU NEED FROM ME' and so on. But, they totally wanted to sex eachother up :D)
